Join the New Class
As a new year begins we all have new resolves. Charlotte Mason tells us that “vague aspirations are not to be mistaken for definite willing.” Why not commit to learning and growing more in your understanding and implementation of the Charlotte Mason philosophy of education? I have a group mentoring opportunity (Charlotte Mason Class) for you! Join me for a new Season 2 Living Education Lessons starting on January 31st. Read how it helped a former participant, Vanessa:
Placing myself into a community of mothers from all over the country with a heart for knowing Charlotte’s principles and placing her practices within our homes and lives was both humbling and joyful. Nancy’s gift of nourishment for my mind (and thus my family, too) through her sharing of her knowledge and practices of implementing Charlotte’s methods in her community and home each week has been a delightful treasure, one that I will continue to reflect upon and assimilate weeks, months, even years from now. Each week I was able to listen and feel each person’s commonplace from the volume’s reading. This time of reflection and sharing acted as nutritional fortitude for my mind and body. With each day I am more and more able to feel and see the ‘truth, goodness and beauty’ of Charlotte Mason’s words and love of life! LEL Community and Nancy’s truthful leadership bring an energy and joy to the rich and bountiful feast that is a Mason Education (life)!
A Charlotte Mason Community for All
Whether you are just curious, beginning your journey, or a veteran of the philosophy and method, you will find so much in this class to think about and apply. Let me share with you my 28 years of experience (6 graduates from my CM homeschool and thousands of students at co-ops, conferences, and online) studying and practicing the method. The reading for this class is under 10 pages from Volume 6 per week – very doable.
I will be leading a Season 2 class beginning on January 31st, 2023. The class is limited to 25 students, so don’t delay. Meeting dates are on Tuesdays, January 31st, February 7, 21, 28, and March 7, 14, 21. We will meet on Zoom from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. central.
Younger Years, Shakespeare, and Scheduling
Season 2 – Wondering Why will explore the role of wonder, how to teach the younger years, the importance and richness of Shakespeare in your school, and scheduling that nurtures a full living.
