I haven’t had much time to post this week as the preparations for the Living Education Retreat have taken over my life. We were going to just paint the upstairs, but opted to remodel the bathroom three days before Dr. Beckman arrives. Thank you so much to those who have sent notes of well-wishes and promises of prayer! I hope to have lots of pictures and posts when it’s all over.
Here is a quote that I like to read before I speak on Charlotte Mason. It’s good advice and I’ve seen it not heeded and the mess that can ensue, but that story is for another time…Charlotte wrote this to her dear friend, Mrs. Franklin as she was about to speak at a conference on the method.
“State your theory and practice, but attack nothing. Be indignant at nothing. When people’s minds are put on the defensive they have no room to receive new ideas” (The Story of Charlotte Mason, p. 106).
So for now, here are some links to a few blog carnivals that you might enjoy!

We were just talking about the blog carnival at our CM study group this morning! Must be a God thing! 🙂 At least three of us are coming this weekend, and we're all seriously excited. Thank you so much for all of the work that you put into it. You're all definitely in our prayers.
