The Living Education Retreat (LER) is an annual weekend event that focuses on the philosophy of Charlotte Mason. People from all over the world gather to consider a living education through deep discussions, shared meals, outdoor activities, beautiful worship, and inspiring presentations. This is truly a retreat. We want it to refresh and revive your heart, soul, and mind so we practice the CM philosophy in how we form the retreat by scheduling time for pondering, processing, and playing. The retreat is a reflection of Nancy, Karla, Heidi, Sally, Kristin and others and their individual gifts and talents coupled with over 100 years of combined study and practice. We see it as an offering from our hearts because we feel God has led us to do this – a gift of love and time from our CM community. The LER is ultimately about relationships.
